If you can...this is a excellant test.
I had the BSGI performed last Nov. it is easy and results are given on the spot. I am happy to see that Dr. are now using the test prior to surgery to ensure that the entire scope of the bc is discovered. Many dr. assume
the one site is all there is...especially with small tumors.
I know before I had my lumpectomy none of the dr.
suggested an MRI to be certain there was nothing else
lurking in the breasts. I made the suggestion and then
insisted on it before surgery.
