Ginger's 8th Anniversary Page |
A pioneer in the 1995 Herceptin clinical trials, Ginger was given a poor prognosis when doctors discovered tumors on her liver and progressing.
Her determination to find help led her to Dr. Slammon and his Phase 111 clinical trial. Her treatments starting on August 31, 1995 at UCLA proved extremely successful and Herceptin would be on its way to becoming FDA approved. Thank You Ginger for your courage and help in that endeavor. She has sent us a brief message describing her life as a Stage 1V survivor.
