Hi from madubois63...
Just wanted to let you all know I am okay!! I am having computer problems so I haven't been on line much and will try and answer some mail by the weekend. I have the video tape of "Living Proof" and am getting it put on DVD. I will send out copies to those that have requested it by next week.
Had Herceptin and my Faslodex shot yesterday. My butt hurts from that shot, but I've had worse. Got phlebotomy done today (they take 5 units every week) and also got my Procrit shot. My counts are amazing. My platelets are 377. I haven't had numbers like that in several years!!! I had to go up on the steroids a little (from 22 mg to 40 mg) because my liver functions started to rise a little bit, but things are back on the right track. I've had some really good days. Went in to Manhattan last night with my daughter for a concert - had fun!! I really liked the band (Mylie Cyrus' brother's band - Metrostation - great to dance too). Going to a BC survivor breakfast celebration tomorrow morning and a Halloween party on Saturday. Hope you all are doing okay or better...Have a happy Halloween. Love to you all and your all always in my prayers!!!

Glad to hear from you and that you are well enough to be the busy bee that you are. Sounds like things are going better for you lately and it's about time you caught a break. Try not to overdo it though while you are out there having fun. Have a great Halloween!

#1 concert girl has some more big concerts to go to this month. My daughter's all time favorite band (Fall Out Boy) is playing "secret" shows (small clubs/advertised under a secret name) this week and next even though one of the band member's (Pete Wentz') wife (Ashley Simpson) is ready to pop (1st baby). I'm so sure we'll drive all the way there just to be told that Ashley is in labor and the show is canceled so Pete can be there. Anyway, that show is on Thursday and out of state, then there is a show on Saturday close to home (yeah). But the big show is just before Thanksgiving. My daughter's best friend (lives in Mass) hired All Time Low (just getting big) for her 16th birthday. Our friend's are having the party in a Hotel and got us a room in the same hall as the band. I won't be sleeping that night. I'll making sure my daughter stays in the room alone. After the party, the birthday girl's family is taking the band out to dinner and we are invited. we've been seeing the band for several years now and everyone is excited - even the band. I designed the VIP passes and also the candy bar favor label for the party (with a little help from my sister who is an award winning designer in the marketing/advertising industry). The invites were a concert ticket (I could have done it better and cheaper). Anyway, the next night after the party is a concert in the band's home town and then the following day is Thanksgiving which we'll spend in Connecticut at my sister's. I'm saving up all my energy for that week and then comes San Antonio in December!!!! I wish I had my energy too....

Hey! you busy bee! I know you have tons to do in between all the chaperoning to concerts!
Glad you are feeling well enough to attempt all that, but make sure you don't wear yourself down too much, as you KNOW how that feels ...
And - don't forget your EAR PLUGS. The next thing is you will be needing hearing aids - tee, hee!
