Smile Any success without Herceptin or Tykerb?

Hi! This is my first post and I'm thrilled to have discovered this site! I've been battling Her2+. Estrogen and Prog + for 3 years with mets to bone, liver and 6 lymph nodes. I responded very well to a year of Taxotere/Herceptin, remission after a year but continued weekly Herceptin for 7 months and had reoccurance and been trying different chemo drugs for a year now with no luck. I've been on Taxotere/Herceptin, Herceptin/Abraxane, Ixempra/Tykerb, CPT-11/Mitomyacin C, Cisplatin/Gemzar and on Monday the doc wants me to start Adromyacin. Has anyone had success without the Herceptin or Tykerb? I had uncontrolable spasms in my chest with a funny dry cough so he won't give it to me any longer. I know it's the break through drug and I'm worried I won't be able to stabalize without it. Thanks for your input! Linda
