I watched the show last week and found it to be very informative. What a heart wrenching decision to make and yet how wonderful it is to be able to give yourself the oportunity to make such a decision and reduce your chances of cancer. I feel for the filmmaker. I was a bit ticked off at the gentleman who had patented the test. It seems to me when we are all working toward a common cause that money should be the least of everyone's worries. I also was very upset when they had mentioned that the one woman worked for a breast cancer organization and was let go after her 3rd diagnosis. I wish I knew who they were I would like to give them a piece of my mind. If our own organizations and charities won't back us up then how do they expect the private sector to follow suit?

Marcia, Thanks for the heads up on this. Although I just checked my menu on tv and it does not show "In the Family" being on tonight? Grrrr...I'm in Southern Ca and their site says it is on. But I can't find it? In searching their site I finally found a link where you can watch it online. So at least I can watch it that way...works for me.
"In the Family" is going to be streaming in its entirety online from October 2 to October 31, 2008. Here is the link for those that want to watch it online when you have time.

Thanks again Marcia...much appreciated.
