Anyone have a dilantin allergic reaction?

I have, they took me off it Friday, but progressed to one rotten, itchy mess. Seeing Dr. today. Anyone?

I had a terrible itchy rash. I can't take it again.
Best wishes,

Barbara, Thanks. Today I got Triamcinolone Acetonide for body, Hydrocortisone 2.5% for face and Atarax for the general histmine reaction. Here goes. Smeared everything on, poppped a pill (sleepy)! The only thing that doesn't itch is where I got the WBRT two weeks ago. Go figure.

How long did it take for your rash to stop itching/clear?

Question

Call me "dumb", but what would the dilantin be prescribed for? I'm getting ready to start chemo & I'm just trying to stay informed on things... Thanks- Kelli
