Surgery Scheduled

So my surgeon agreed that it is time for the mastectomy. That is the good part. Set tentatively for April 9th.

The bad part is that I got the lecture yet again, that I have a very aggressive disease. So... no skin graft, in her opinion because I need to stay on chemo for a while (no one seems to know exactly how long). Apparently, because of the way it showed up quickly back on my breast statically the cancer should be somewhere else in my body but they just can't see it on the scans. Not the conversation I wanted. I'm still trying to recover from that one but I know I am in God's capable hands.

I've been waiting for your post all day. I'm just ready to head off to bed but wanted to check in to see if you posted and you did.

I'm happy that your surgery has been scheduled. I will keep April 9th in my prayers.

I'm sorry that things were spoken of today that were frightening to you and made you upset. That's tough, I'm sure. I'm happy to know that YOU KNOW you ARE in God's capable Hands - because you surely are.
