AI's and body building ... huh?

Ok, am I really slow or just really confused? What is the connection between armidex and body-building?

I am taking a guess here and certainly am not positive but I think the body builders use the AI - as a mechanisms to increase testosterone
and pump up and build up their muscles.

I've heard about body builders taking steroids, and I've seen the word "non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor" applied to armidex and "steroidal aromatase inhibitor" applied to Aromasin (exemestane). Never connected the two to the drugs that the athletes take and am surpised to see the non-steroidal one there especially. I wonder what the dosage is for them, as compared to bc treatment?

That is interesting - I wonder if it will help us build muscles, I just joined a gymn and would like to build up some muscle to increase my metabolism. I am on Tamoxifen now but once my Herceptin treatments are done I will be put on Armidex.

I just look - and it appears that Tamoxifen is used in the body building world too:
