Actually, it did work out but he decided not to take the job as it would have just been a job and not a career move. If you keep doing that, you have a giant resume with no guts to it. Plus, he didn't want to be viewed a job hopper. If you can show why you are changing jobs and what that brings to your skill set, then it is different. Unfortunately, the job was much better paying and with 2 in college it was hard for him (my husband for the sake of others reading) but it was the right decision for him in the long run.
In the meantime, I have been training hard. I have a 5K in Las Vegas this Thursday (3/13) morning and another on 3/29 and a 10K on 6/1 (which I have to start a different training program on 3/17 - these other 2 are local). I want to do a 1/2 marathon in the fall so go,go, go! I want to pick a nice locale to travel to to do the 1/2 marathon. I will let you know

No kidding. I was a little worried you had left, along with some of my inspiration!
Glad to see that you are still around.

Hi Becky,
I, too, am happy to see your posts and happy to hear you are training for a marathon. YOU GO GIRL!
I did send you a private e-mail but never heard back and was truly worried about you.
I'm happy to see nothing is wrong - you are well - and are training hard.
Mary Jo

Hi Becky, glad you're back! Don't know if you can find one, but Arizona would be a perfect place to run a half-marathon in the fall. Low humidity, possibly 50's-70's depending on the month. Good luck to you and you keep on rollin'! Love, Bill
