Wink Health Talk program - Uplifting Cancer Survival Story

NEXT LIVE WEBCAST: Tuesday, February 19, 2008
<!-- #### FEATURE TITLE HERE -->Debra Jarvis: An Uplifting Story of Cancer Survival
<!-- #### DATE HERE.. OPTIONAL-->
<!-- #### FEATURE COPY HERE -->Debra Jarvis believes that you will find your emotional center somewhere between whining and joking about cancer. And in that center, you will find much-needed strength.

Tune in on February 19 as we talk with this inspiring author, advocate and breast cancer survivor. A chaplain at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Debra has published several books on health, including her most recent publication, “It’s Not About the Hair: And Other Certainties of Life & Cancer.” Prepare to let your stress go as you connect and laugh with this thoughtful woman who understands first-hand what it’s like to face cancer and all of the fears that come with it.

And, as always, you’ll have a chance to ask the guests your questions.

<!-- #### BUTTON AND MAIN LINK HERE -->

I have to recommend this, since I know her well - she is my chaplain at my cancer center. She is also a Melanoma and breast cancer survivor. Her hubby is an infectious disease specialist and she often travels with him when he is giving seminars, etc. They just got back from 10 days in India. She continues her ministry wherever she goes.

Hi Steph - thanks so much for posting this info about Debra Jarvis - I am just reading her book "It's not about the hair" - and I love it! She is wise and funny and has an open-minded sense of spirituality that I appreciate.
It was great to listen to this talk. Thanks so much for sharing.
Blessings

Thanks Steph. I am just about finished with her book: It's Not About the Hair. I like her sense of humor and spirituality.
