Visualizing Good Health

Just wanted to check in with you ladies to see if you have any suggestions for CDs or tapes that help you visualize good health. This is not an area that I am real good at and I could use some extra help right now.

Thanks,
Tonya

When I was racked with anxiety my friend bought "Breathing The Master Key to Self Healing" Dr. Andrew Weil. I still use it and my husband has been recently using it for his high blood pressure.

Best of luck.

Tonya, my cancer center provided a very nice CD to be used during treatment and beyond. Check with your treatment team. The CD was provided to them by a drug company but it is not propoganda! Let me go see if I can find it and give you the name. I'll get back to you....

The CD is called "Relaxation and Wellness" .Guided Imagery for Chemotherapy Patients. By Imadulation and provided by Procrit.
I don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for but it has been helpful to me.....

I'm looking for some myself.

I have one from the Wellness Community. It was free. Call the local office or log in to the web at www.wellnessandcancer.org. It's called Relaxation/Visualization by Shannon McGowan MFCC.

Susan Castle on the web also has some nice imagery cds.

As I said, one of my plans today was to look for some extras.

I'll post when I have them

I HAVE A LOVELY CD FROM GENENTECH (HERCEPTIN MANUFACTURER) THAT CAME IN THE MAIL FREE...

SOMETIMES ANDREA BOCELLI'S ROMANZA ALLOWS ME TO BECOME TRANSPORTED TO SERENITY. I BREATHE LIFE AFFIRMING AIR IN THROUGH MY NOSE AND FEEL MY LUNGS EXPAND. THEN I HOLD ON TO THE BREATH, CONNECTING W/SOMETHING DEEP WITHIN. THEN I SLOWLY LET THE AIR THROUGH MY PURSED LIPS, KISSING EVERYTHING UNWANTED GOODBYE (ALL THAT IS TOXIC AND NEGATIVE GOES W/THE EXHALATION). I HEAR IT LEAVE ME AND ENVISION IT SPIRALLING UP AND AWAY INTO THE STRATOSPHERE. I FEEL MY CHEST DEFLATE. THEN I JUST KEEP REPEATING THIS... THE MUSIC TRANSPORTS ME...

HOPE IT WORKS WONDROUSLY FOR YOU...

SENDING LOVING, HEALING ENERGY,
Andi

Hi Tonya, the CD Bonnie mentioned is a good one, also Nikki got alot of help from the book,"The Doctor and the Word", by Reginald Cherry. One thing to consider, I've always been a big fan of Native American flute music, Carlos Nakai in particular. It's peaceful, calming, and as you listen to it, maybe in a hot bath with candles, you can visualize the healing occurring in your body. Peace to you, Bill

Belleruth Naparstak has great visualization CD's. I used a set that had 4 - General wellness, Chemotherapy, Fighting Cancer, and Stress relief. They are great - they were my nightly bedtime routine
www.healthjourneys.com

I also have a good one from Andrew Weil and Dr. Martin Rossmann, I forget the name of it but it is wonderful...my new bedtime routine alternating with Belleruth.
