PTEN question
It was my understanding that being PTEN positive would possibly mean getting more benefit from herceptin. Can someone clarify this statement made recently at San Antonio?:

The last speaker, Rene Bernards, PhD, from the Netherlands Cancer Institute, reviewed his laboratory's efforts to search for genes that cause resistance to Herceptin. He uses sophisticated techniques to screen genes one by one to see which genes, when deleted or added, cause resistance.
One gene that emerged from the screen was PTEN, a gene already known to be linked to Herceptin resistance.
