Missed you all
Hi Her2 family,
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Michael and I did get away and I did glance at the site briefly the other day, but am finally getting around to writing. We had a really good getaway and I am glad we did that. It actually has been 8 years since we got away for a week. I put my faith in God and really tried not to think about stuff while we were gone. Anyhow, I had the biopsy yesterday. There was mass confusion on Monday during pre-op. MY BP was up and pulse was real fast, then they were having a hard time getting a good ECG. They insisted that I get clearance from my primary. I explained that 3 weeks ago (on 5/25) I was taken to that same hospital by ambulance as we were rear ended by some maniac while sitting at a red light. The EMS crew insisted that I go to the hospital as my BP was sky high and the pulse was beyond rapid. I am convinced that the anxiety will stay for awhile and I never had problems with this before. Anyhow, thank God the accident was all that is was and nothing worse. And the guy who caused it tried to get away, but my husband went after him (hubby is a retired NYC police officer). When the police came the guy was arrested on the spot for having a suspended license, no insurance and God only knows what else. So hopefully he will be off the road for awhile. Just some background. Anyway, I got the clearance, had the biopsy and now awaiting results. I am going to check out what has been going on with you all while I was away.
