Can't Believe It Is Two Years!
Dear Sisters,
Two years ago today I was dx. and I will never forget that afternoon.
It is one of those times in our lives that forever remains etched in ones
brain. I did not know much breast cancer or even that there were different kinds. I only knew that I didn't want it, I was devastated.
That night at dinner with my husband and son I dreaded telling them the
news. The words stuck in my throat as I tried like heck to hold back my
tears. Telling my two sister was even harder.
Now here I am two years later celebrating with my family my cancerversary!
As we toasted tonight I said a toast to all of you. I never would had made
it through without your support, kindness and wealth of information.
A big "thank you" to all and I will never ever stop praying for all of us!
With Love and Gratitude,
Jean

Congratulations Jean, I hope the day will come when you can put a zero after the "2." I can't say why but I'm sure it will happen. Best and do something really special tomorrow.

A BIG CONGRATS on the two year mark.
I had mine last week, and it seems like such a relief to make that mark.

Congratulations to you Jean. I know you will have many more cancerverseries. I always buy myself something very special. Year one was a velvet jacket and year two were stylish tall black boots. Who knows what I will buy in a couple of months. You should do the same!
Love to you

Hey, Jean! Congratulations! Before cancer we never could have imagined the meaning behind this kind of anniversary/celebration. The survivors sure know, though, and appreciate/celebrate every minute of every day.
Good for you! Here's a toast to many many more "anniversaries."
Hugs and prayers...

Congrats all. I'm also almost at the 2 year mark, and stage 3a. Sometimes it seems like a miracle, other times it's just the miracle of a normal life again.
Love to you all

So pleased for you, Jean.
I always read your posts as they are most informative, and you yourself are so supportive of others.
You were very brave doing the chemo/herceptin combo so long after surgery, but clearly it has worked for you. This is probably due to your own tenacity.
