Bone Pain - what does it feel like?

Can anyone give me a discription of bone pain? I have been having a pretty severe achiness in the upper and outer part of my right leg below the hip joint for a few days now. Came on pretty suddenly in response to nothing in particular. It aches a little sitting still, but gets pretty severe when I move. I actually limp unless I work at not limping. The ache is pretty deep in the leg and changes with various motions and positions. It is definitetly not a pulled muscle or sprain (I have been into sports all my life, so I know what that feels like) and it is not flu type of body aches. I am on TCH and am not aware of this type of pain as a side effect. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Erin, I did TCH also. I don't know how to explain it...but with the TCH I *did* have *alot* of bone pain all over. Not just confined to one place. I had bone pain in hips, upper & lower back. I was pretty misrable at times. Some days worse then others. Then one time when I had the Neulasta on top of it...I had severe bone pain. But thankfully that only happened once with the Neulasta. There are several others that have had TCH so I am sure you will get plenty of other replies...but I do believe that pain you are experiencing is from the TCH. Would not surprise me at all. Hang in there.

The pain you have sounds exactly like I am having now. The MRI showed a few cysts that can cause the ache. My ache is real bad when sitting down and projects from somewhere near tail bone downward to the upper leg. The MRI report identifies them as perineural cysts. There is no effective way to treat these cysts. One doctor says this is Ischial bursitis.
