Now that I found my post - still looking for an answer

Hi again,

Wondering where my post went. I posted yesterday asking for an explanation to a study I read on breastcancer.org about taxol vs taxatere and adriamycin. I did get a private response so is wondering if when that is done if the post is removed from the board.

From the way I understood the study it says taxatere was better for no recurrence but really didn't have any increase in survival rate (1 percent better with taxatere) - also there was a question about adriamycin.

I was asking that those of you who are very knowledgeable in this to explain it to me. As I told the person that private messaged me, I know that it is all hindsight for me now....and I accept that. I believe I was given a very aggressive chemo regimen but was a bit shocked at what I read as I always was under the impression (I thought by what I had read) that taxol was a bit better than taxatere and adriamycin, although very hard on your heart, was a good treatment.

Oh well .............hope this post stays put this time and I get more responses. For those who responded - thank you. You knowledge is always appreciated.

Love & God's Blessings,

Mary Jo
