Question blood draws

After having two breasts off now, the assistant nurses freaked out to take blood pressure and any blood from the hand - i have a port for infusion and draws.

my surgeon said today that because so few nodes were taken out of either side, that there should not be a problem doing draws either arm. i do not have lymphedema. i agree with him

What do you think? I think it's ok to do?
also how do i explain to freaking out nurses about doing. I can't exactly carry a liability disclaimer with me, ha ha ha

Let me know your expereinces?

thanks. xoxox

I had 26 nodes taken out on the right side and only 1 on the left side. I do not have have blood pressure, needles or blood draws on the right arm. They use my left arm for blood pressure and my port for blood draws. I do have lymphedema on my right side.
