exercise and pain

There was a post recently about pain where we'd all had our lumpectomies. Mine is under the left arm, right where the top of a bra wire would be. This past summer I reworked my diet after finding out my cholesterol is really high, and have been trying to lose the extra pounds I put on doing chemo and the extra I've carried all of these years. I've been fortunate to lose 20 of them with a lot of work. But it seems like the more I lose the more the site of the lumpectomy hurts. Anyone have any ideas on this? I didn't really want to make an appointment to ask any of the docs about it because it just seems like a silly question and that i should just be happy I'm losing the weight.

Hi Juanita, I have no issues but I do get weird pings in the affected breast, I gave up the underwire after BC I'm 1-1/2 years post surgery. As you are probably being checked out often, things are likely OK. Nerves have been cut. Good luck, BB
