Tykerb for compassionate use

I saw my doc. today. I finished one cycle of xeloda and I just started the second cycle. The only side effects I am experiencing so far is water retention in my feet and legs. She wrote a script for lasik and potasium. She has applied for compassionate use of tykerb and should know something by my next appt in 2 months. So far I feel great. Praise the Lord.

Blessings from Lu Ann

Lu Ann are you saying it is going to take this long to get it??? Or did you mean 2 weeks instead of 2 months. I was told today the hospital is meeting on my case and will let me know next Friday. Wishing you well with this. Sandy

Sandy, I won't see my doctor for 2 months. I'm not sure if she is planning on having me get the drug sooner. I can wait to see what the xeloda can do by itself.

Blessings, Lu Ann
