Looking good
Friends,
In the past 2 weeks I've had PET/CT fusion, brain MRI, and spinal CT. The news is...are you sitting down....don't get that excited...it's not NED...BUT it isn't bad. I'm continuing to be stable. Which means no brain mets, mets on some ribs (we're watching them closely near the spinal column), and still some mets in liver.
AND my onc is now going through the paperwork for me to get Tykerb. We shall see.
Oh, and please send any amount you can to help Lyn's family. She went through so much and still kept us posted. She was a true "web friend."
Love and light,
Lisa

Lisa, your update is a bit understated for such grand news, but that's ok, we'll cheer on the sidelines! Keep up the good work kiddo.
And, my check's in the mail.

Lisa thanks for the update. You are a legend also as you have fought quite the battle and yet you keep going. You continue to help others despite having your plate full. I hope you get the new drug as my oncologist is trying to get it for me. I will let you know how it goes as soon as I hear anything. Sending you a big hug, Sandy

Wow !
Way to go Lisa. Now get on the stick and be one of our Tykerb guinea pigs...lol. Many of us have been waiting a long time for lapatinib to get to market, so we will be rooting for you all the way.
Best Wishes,
Tom
