Sorry friend -- I deleted your email by accident. Whoops! I am unable to recall all of your trip details, but I sure hope that you & your husband have a WONDERFUL time in Portugal!

Drop me a line anytime!

Steph-

Are you getting Herceptin while abroad? I recently commented on discovering that Herceptin vials have to be kept between 39 and 49 degrees Fahrenheit at all times, so "bring your own Bottle" is not very practical.

Hope you have a lovely time!

Wink Travel between treatments

JoJo - I will resend my message.

Thanks for the reminder Lani.
But knowing these things are tricky, I NEVER get my Herceptin anywhere but my usual cancer center.
That said - my travel can't be more than 20 days total. I get my treatment the day prior to leaving and push it one day late for my next dose. We can push one day and not have to reload. Thus my trip is "bookended" by my visits to the cancer center.
Even though it is Herceptin only now, I want to stay on track.

My travel agent told me that now that I have trained her in this timing, she has more travelers on treatments and lets them know she understands and will get them the flights they need so they don't mess up their treatment schedule!
