Thanks, for remembering. Yes, you did celebrate my birthday back in January. No we did not toast as it was a long day for us. Francis had his knee replacement today so I went and had breakfast with my Pastor's wife as he was gone from his room for 5 hours. He did very well. The timing wasn't great but it has been booked for 6 months now and it has been a long winter for us both so we were glad to get it done. He will be in the hospital until Monday so then it will be Easter and I enjoy every Holiday with a nice meal etc. but not this year. The hospital is 50 miles away so that is 100 miles round trip so will not be going every day. My friends will visit so that will help. The wonderful thing is I am still here and we both have each other so we are not complaining. Sandy

Thumbs up Doing well

Dear Sandy -
Yes, if anyone deserves to be wished a "happy anniversary" it is you two!
Glad your hubby sailed through his surgery and will be like a new man soon.
(Your Easter gift.) After my recent stint in the hospital, I really feel for him.
Know you will be very glad to have him home in one piece.

Our birthdays and anniversary are coming up. We will take a nice trip to Portugal in May to celebrate (Paris/Rome got changed!). Have done enough for one year in fighting this disease over and above the normal Herceptin/ Zometa.

You two can really celebrate when Francis is home and taking his first steps.

He is home today and doing great! Having less pain then before surgery. I hope you enjoy your trip as you deserve it. Thanks for the encouragment. You have always been here for us all so relax and enjoy it all as I know you will. You are a great traveler and go prepared for anything that falls in your path. Will be looking forward to posting of your trip when you return. hugs, Sandy
