Cytochrome 450 genotype influences clinical effects of tamoxifen

I don't take tamoxifen, but I JUST left the neurologists office to try to get off the phenobarbital I'm on as it is a Cytochrome 450 inducer, just can't win

So...

Does this mean that getting hot flashes while on tamoxifen is a good thing or a bad thing (as we cannot compare hot flashes while on an AI in the same manner).
