Radiation & tumor markers on the rise

I have a few bone mets and on Friday I had 12 mins of radiation to tailbone,t7 & left hip. I had treatment yesterday herceptin/zometa, my tumor markers went from 66 (3 wks ago) to 93! We added navelbine as well now yesterday. My question is has anyone ever had tumor markers rise from recent radiation?? Not sure what to make of this. I can kind of feel that familiar old stinkin' crappy fear trying to creep in!!!

Haven't had this particular experience with the markers, Tammy, but navelbine and herceptin and femara sure did the job for me. Just want you to know I am thinking of you and praying for you. Have faith and don't let that old crappy fear come creeping in! Hugs, Tricia
