new diagnostics to track how well vaccines work...

This is really futuristic stuff. They can track the immune response through MRI...could this replace blood tests to measure immune response in vaccine trials?

By using MRI to detect magnetic probes of tiny iron oxide particles, an international research team for the first time has successfully tracked immune-stimulating cells implanted into cancer patients for treatment purposes.

Great article Al; the researchers are really working hard to devise tools to "read" our immune systems, and it's very exciting to see these advances in black and white!
