Smile Joe, LOVE the new board

I love that it bumps the most recent message to the top (takes less time for me to see what is new). Keep up the awesome work.

Wink

I like it too....it's the same software as my storknet board so I'm familiar with it.

But how do we upload avatars? Doesn't let me have the option to do that??

Hi Rozebud, to upload an avatar click the first button on the top menu (User CP) when you go into the user control panel there is an "edit avatar" link on the left. After clicking that you should see a spot to upload an avatar from your home system or to put in a weblink to one.

Hope this helps

Actually, I tried that before I posted, this is what it says in that area:

Edit Avatar
Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.

There is no way to "uncheck" the "do not use an avatar button". What can others see?

Looks like the signature part is working!

Ok found out how. You just need to put a dot in the space that says "Use custom avatar" then it will take it out of the "do not use" spot and then you just upload your image or put a weblink in and save the settings. Worked for me !!

Good luck

Visionwax....I don't have that option? Could it be disabled for certain users? I know how to upload an avatar on the other site and it looks different here. When I hit "edit avatar" there are absolutely no options I can choose or unclick??

Wondering if others are having the same issue, as it seems to me no one has an avatar up.
