It broke my heart, when I read this on another website tonite,
www.bcsupport.org. This is their posted message below:
"From all accounts, two of our long time survivors, Hope and Yvette (Anne) have lost their homes to flooding and worst. There may be other survivors in the path of Katrina along the coastline of La. and Miss. we are not aware. Both Hope and Yvette have contributed greatly to our survivors on bcsupport.org over the years. Without their approval, or consent, all donations to this site dated from today and in the month of September 2005 will go directly to both Hope and Yvette (Anne). Instead of contributing directly, any donation should be tax deductible through our site....so please give freely."
You all know how cancer can really turn our worlds upside down... but imagine how it would feel like to lose a HOME, while fighting cancer at the same time!! :-( Please help out however you can....
Hope, Yvette and other survivors touched by Hurrican Katrina, you all are in our thoughts & prayers.
