Besides the one 6mm nodule in the left lung & some pleural effusion in right, the rest of repeat scans came out all clear.

Meeting onc right after Labor Day Weekend to go over treatment plan.

As far as off-topics, I just want to say this: Good luck in your scan tests to you, Montana & Karen W. Leticia, Patty Z & Mickey, you'll be in my thoughts. Sorry, if I have left out others. (I don't trust my memory anymore.)

Happy Labor Day Weekend to all! :-)

Dear Jojo- Hi- What drugs are you taking? I am on xeloda and herceptin and my scan showed a decrease in 3 lung nodules. (They all started out at 5mm. Now two are 3mm and one is 2mm) I was only on these drugs for 3 months. Onward and Upward- God Bless You- Cathy

Jojo,

Thank you for your thoughts. I just got back from getting the radioactive dye injection and I go back at noon, for the test.

You are in my thoughts, too.

Love and hugs,

Karen W.

Hey Karen, isn't having the dye such a hassle, especially when the wait in between is more than 2 hours!?!

Hi Cathy, I'm still on the same treatment: weekly Herceptin, monthly Zoladex, and daily Aromasin. Since my original round of chemo 2 years ago, I have not been on any other chemo's since then. That may change soon. Whether to change or keep the treatment is what my onc & I are going to discuss in the next appt, which I think is on the 8th on Thursday, after Labor Day Weekend. Glad that your meds are working on ya! :-)
