I have been on the fence about this for a year...but I just saw my onc yesterday, and he said this might be of benefit to me, so I am pursuing the Wash Vaccine Trials.

I was tested for the HLA2 allele last year, and was positive.

I am looking at protocol 118 and 120.

Dear Esther -
Would seem that things are far enough along now that it is a good time to go for the vaccine. Especially since you can stay on Herceptin with these protocals.

I am waiting for an expanded qualification on one of them so that I can also participate in a vaccine trial. Brain mets was a disqualifier, and now the FDA has approved patients with stable or resolved brain mets!

Hope to see you when you come up to the U of W.
Glad you are stable/NED now and able to look ahead to these other options.
