Hi Michele,

I got your note. Thank you so much! I forgot to take your email address when I quit my job. I have a new email it is eamegaw@yahoo.com

I was on my 21st carbo/taxol treatment when I had an allergic reaction to the carbo, got hives, threw up, throat closed up. Did 2 more Taxol alone then scans. I had progression in 1 liver met WHILE ON CHEMO. So...my husband and I took your suggestion. I quit my job and am going on SS Disability. Please email me when you can, I miss talking to you. I have had 6 weekly treatments of Navelbine and I think the Navelbine is the easiest so far for me regarding side effects. Anyone else reading the post with questions feel free to email me.

Continued Health!

Beth

Beth,
Sooooo glad to hear from you! I thought that was what happened--you quit your job. My email came back from your work place. Did the SS disability come through already? You need to concentrate on health and not other things right now. I read was has been happening with you. Have you thought of going into a Lapinitib trial? It sounds like you would get your chemo that your on and get Lapinitib with it. It is oral. Go into the trial section and get into the trial and they will ask you some questions to see if your eligible then someone will contact you,. It's worth the time, esp. since it is oral! I will get your email into my system again!

Your hair looks so cute in your picture! My case worker is processing it now. She said it could take 3-6 months. I hope it's more like 3. How long did it take for yours? I am really getting the extra rest I need. My husband Kevin is very supportive and is glad to have me around the house more. I am going to ask my doctor about adding Avistin to my Navelbine if the scans show the need. I will check out the trial information. Email me
with how you are doing and how the family is.

Luv,

Beth
