My husband Mel just wrote an e-mail to his company's employees updating them on the measured success of this web site. SO many hits from SO many countries. He did this since they've contributed before and he wanted to keep them in the loop. His company CEO saw it and encouraged employees to give and the company would match their gift. At least one employee has pledged $50.
Now, Mel's intent was not to ask for money. But the side effect was that folks were again offered the opportunity to help support the site.
So if you have contact with your HR dept. or Marketing or whoever budgets for charity gifts, you might consider asking him/her to include HER2support.org in the pie. And company matches are great. If the company contributes nicely, Joe would probably include your company's logo on the site. AND with October (breast cancer awareness time) right around the corner, NOW is the time to ask. My motto is always "You don't ask, you don't get."
