Aromasin or Arimidex?

My mom was originally prescribed Aromasin("easier on body") but was switched after insurance balked. Is Aromasin approved for early stage? Should mom pursue it?

I am currently taking Aromasin, but I have never taken Arimidex before.

Rich, I am sorry I do not have a direct answer to your question. However, my nurse practitioner did tell me that Arimidex is similar to Femara. It is pretty much known that Femara is supposed to be the "best" hormonal therapy. Thus, doctors are making this as "first-line" hormonal therapy. But I am pretty sure that this topic of which should be "the" best hormone blocker can be very subjective...
