Hello everyone,

Someone told me that a minister came out over the weekend for herceptin for early BC, but I can't find any reference to it. Anyone catch it? I didn't, but then if the Tweenies weren't singing about it or Big Cook mixing up a batch of it, I would have missed it. Maybe Bob the Builder could put a new herceptin factory into his plan for Sunflower Valley (they'll need the spare capacity I figure).

Anyway, I just found out that the NICE website has an area for suggestions on things that it should develop guidelines on (http://www.nice.org.uk) Wrote them about herceptin for early BC. Don't know if it will have an effect and won't benefit from it personally (too long after treatment, will need to go private), but it took less than half an hour and was a positive step at least.

[For non-Brits, NICE sets up the guidelines on what the national health service covers].

Take care,

Christine
