I've been trying to access the Genentech webcast from ASCO about Herceptin, without success. Has anyone else managed to get to it? It was supposed to be available from 7:00 EST last night. Would like to get the "more detail" they couldn't give before ASCO. (brief history - was on trail, didn't get Herceptin arm - by the end of the week that the early ending of the trials had been disclosed I had been told I would be given 52 weeks of Herceptin - sort of a trial extension - just had first dollop last week.)

Thank you Joe - realised after I posted that you had added material to the other thread!

Jo, Congrats on the 52 weeks. What are your stats (stage, nodes)?

My stats - diagnosed late April 2004. IDC, 2cms, 1 node positive (interestingly sentinel nodes were clear but this node had shown up on mammogram, so she went ahead and did full AND), ER-/PR-, HER2+++. On trial I did the 4xAc, and 12 weekly Taxols. The recent great news about Herceptin and early stage is confusing in a way for those who didn't get the drug on the trial, but must be much more confusing for those who are already some time out of chemo. Still, things seem to be moving in the right direction.

Yes, having had chemo in 2002 is so far very much like being invisible (or talking to ourselves, because no one seems to want to even know we are out here in rather awkwardly large numbers...)
