Another Celebrity, Pop Star Kylie Minogue revealed today she has early stage breast cancer and has cancelled Australian tour to start treatment. We watched her grow up on our soapy |"Neighbours". she is having her treatment in Melbourne here in Australia, so that must say something but I wonder if she realises how far behind we are when it comes to getting drugs. Also on news here today trials revealed that women who are Her+ having herceptin have a 47% better chance than those who cannot have it. I have been on it over 3 years and I am still the only one at my hospital on it, the other 2 ladies died from other complications.

Let's hope that with the awareness by sites like this one, collectively our voices and self-determination will push for more general awareness (and our access to better treatments) by those in the medical profession all over the world...
