I'm angry and devastated at the condition of my friend, Mary. And yet it almost makes me want to fight harder.

The latest info on SSIs (anti-depressant) says that they "break down" Tamoxifen. Any info on whether or not they might have similar effects on chemo drugs and/or Herceptin. I've taken an anti-depressant for years now with the cancer and have to wonder whether this has any effect on my several recurrances.

Love and healing light to all,

Lisa

Dear Lisa,
Although I never met Mary, I also feel anger that we may lose such a valued member of our board. If we are looking for fairness or justice, I don't think it will happen with cancer.
I reference to your question about SSRI's, I think this may be a VERY important issue we need to resolve. This issue may impact the majority of our members and I feel we should get the answes (if they exist) ASAP. I for one will start researching the literature.
It's great to have you back "on board".
Al
