I went to see my children in S. Mexico recently, How fun was that!!! I have four little grandchildren there and one is only 4 months old! We don't get to see them so often unfortunately.

When we were to leave Oaxaca at 6 a.m. they informed us that our flight had been cancelled! How you hate to hear those words. We had a non-stop flight to Houston. Now they were going to try to get us on another airline going to Mexico city, which I was glad we had not visited on the way down and didn't want to now either! When we got to Mexico City it was time to start haggling from here to there! Bob is good at that ,thank heavens. But we had to RUN to our gates for the rest of the day! We knocked people out of line, we kept saying, "We have five minutes to catch that plane!" We still got the wands and all that inspection stuff. My port sets them off!! I just told them I take drugs through that port, but I didn't have any on me at the moment!!

I don't know if y'all have this problem, but I bought these bras about a year ago. Insurance pays for them so I don't like to press the issue. So my prosthesis hugs the body, up nice and high. Alas the other side tends to droop a bit at my age! So as I am doing the hundred yard dash through several airports, in my CanCun tee-shirt, the Can was immobile, staying very nicely in place even with a jog. Unfortunately the Cun was flopping up and down with every jog!!! These bras are not sports bras, you know!! So as people saw me jogging full speed from a distance, I can only imagine what they must have been thinking!!! I just tried not to make any eye contact. At that speed, no one would ever recognize me again anyway!!!!

We made it home safely anywise, even a day before all our luggage. I didn't think they would be able to keep up with us!! The last leg was even first class, the only 2 empty seats!! I thought after a day like that, we deserved a little class!!!

We are survivors and, no matter how we look, we are still real proud of that!!!

Hope you are all enjoying a little Holiday Cheer - You deserve it!!!
Merry Christmas and May God bless you with another good year!!
Hugs, Lola

Thanks for the delightful story...kind of reminds me of the day I went out and left my prosthesis laying on the coffee table!
Well off to Chicago for my mojo juice, aka Herceptin
