Can cyberknife be repeated on existing tumor

For those who have had cyberknife- can it be repeated on an existing brain tumor that has grown a little? My onc did not know and suggested I contact our local director of cyberknife. I hate to call her because I have heard it can only be done on new tumors. If it cant I guess the only option would be surgery???? Any feedback would be helpful---thanks!

How long ago did you receive Cyberknife? The technology is the same as Gamma Knife which Christine had.

Her tumor grew a little just before it died. Her rad/onc said that this often happens. With Christine, I believe it was around 12-a5 months after her GK.
