My last brain MRI was in Feb. of this year. I have been feeling lightheaded now for about 2 monthes (my onc. has no clue as to why). Ove the past few weeks I have developed what I can only describe as eye spasms, as well as eyelid twitching.

Anyone else experienced this? I have extensive mets, but as far as I know, none to my brain...yet.

I have had the same problems. They have come on and off. I was thinking it was sinus problems. I haven't been light headed in a while but I have been continuously congested or have had post nasal drip. At first I thought I was developing a nervous twitch because I was just diagnosed in Aug. My mother was undergoing chemo for lymphoma. She felt lightheaded continuously for about a month. She finally had a mri and she found out she had a severe sinus infection. I am currently taking taxotere and herceptin. Are you still in treatment? Is the twitching in both eyes?

Cathy W,

I have been on taxol and avastin for 10 months. I have twitching with my eyes but it comes and goes. My last MRI of brain was Feb and last ct scan was sept 27th. I was told that it could be the taxol or you need more sleep!! Hope this helps...keep us posted

Warmly,

Judiek

While I was on taxotere, I had constant eyelid twitching which my onc said was a side effect of the drug. When I stopped the taxotere, my twitching also stopped after a time. Hope this infor helps. CathyB

JudieK - I have a question for you which I hope you get (am having a little trouble navigating this new format) Did your pleural effusion go away simply as a result of Avastin and Taxol and if so, how long did it take? Thanks, CathyB
