Hi Dear All,
I am sorry to drag you all into this heading, but wanted to give some findings through this board.
Eilanie UK and Priscilla seemed to have been discussing about this therapy in addition to Herceptin in December for their liver mets. What a conincdence, they both gone within 3 months while recovering. Gerson therapy or IP6 or something else ?

I personally could not follow the Gerson plan, so never tried it. Priscilla gave me a lot of info on it, but it was too restrictive and not proven just some testimonials. Also, the large amount of carrot juice intake(sugar), seems to go against the the theory of cancer cells use glucose faster than normal cells. Just my thoughts.

Interesting question, Chandi!
It may be a coincidence - but - all the women I know who veered too far off conventional cancer therapy did not last very long. There is usually NO reliable statistics whatsoever for what they insist on doing as treatment.
I can see (and DO this) supplementing my body with things to help against my cancer along with my drugs. The drugs are very expensive and maybe some do not have coverage - and see these other possiblities as the only way out (not in my lost friend's case, they are millionaires!).
I was wanting to remember the posts between our dear sisters Elaine and Priscilla so went back to the archive of this board.
It was IP6 on a Feb. 18 post. I have taken that and see nothing wrong with it. The other was Graviola, which was new to me (why I forgot the name) in mid-Dec along with enzyme therapy that caused a stir on the board.
Here is the post where Priscilla tells us what she was taking (not sure with Herceptin or what else):

"I'm not sure what was going on, but I felt fine today and tested my ph, which I do once or twice a week, and it was fine.

I am really puzzled at what the Graviola does, it didn't hurt - but felt an awfully lot like Chemo. I might try some again tomorrow, as I don't take any medicine, only liver, enzymes, pancreatin, niacin and acidol.

I will keep you posted."
