I picked up Mondays's results last night and there was "No metastisis noted" in bones, chest or upper abdomen! This is consistent now for over a year! Just wish I didn't have this open sore on my chest and assorted spots of skin mets! But as the onc says, better to have cancer in the skin than in the liver (like I had before).

Jane, Saying Prayers of Thanks

Jane,

That is good news.....you are right about skin mets vs. liver. What about the phase 1 trials combining Avastin & Herceptin....seems like that was kicking butt on the skin mets...maybe that will be an option available to you soon.

Jane,
GREAT news! You have the upper hand, in spite of those pesky skin mets. I know how discouraging it is to have them lingering, but keep hanging in there!
hugs, Lolly
