Damn!!

Damn! Barbara, I'm so upset by your diagnosis. It seems like so many of us are seeing brain mets these days. But I am thankful that you had your test when you did. The treatments can now do their stuff.

I mentioned this to my nurse practioner earlier this week. She said that since more of us are living longer with Herceptin, they're seeing more and more brain mets. Isn't that just terrific??? Which means it's time for the drug companies to step up to the plate NOW and come up with a drug that penetrates that brain blood barrier.

Barbara, keep us posted. The WBR may knock you on your rear for a while, but you'll be back up swinging.
