I feel so bad for your wife, as I also had aches and pains (had Taxol plus the Navelbine). I took Neurontin at bedtime and this helped a lot. Allowed me to get some rest and this is really when the best healing takes place - when the body is not busy doing other things.
I also used relaxation techniques and listened to a guided imagery tape before falling asleep.
Also, make sure she is getting lots of liquids to flush out the toxins in her system. Detox teas are good as well as organic soups.
It is hard to keep all this straight and make these changes in our routine, but our life depends on that.

You can try flax seed capsules. I know of several people on it for arthritis and it seems to keep their pain at bay. I take the oil with low fat cottage cheese and have had no pain or aches this time with chemo. Hugs, Sandy
