Posting Links

There is a great way to post links to other web sites on our message boards. When you write or reply to a post, you will see 3 boxes below the message window:

URL Address: Post your link here
.
Url Title: This is where you type a tital for your link
.
URL Graphic: When you get the hang of the other two, you can link to an internet picture here
.
.
On this post, I put http://www.komen.org in the address box.
I titled the second box "Komen Cancer Foundation"
and in the third??? I typed in: "http://her2support.org/snoopy.gif
If you make a mistake, email me and I'll fix it.

I am usually paying strict attention to my typing and hardly noticed the other boxes ... duh.

Dear Joe,

I tried to reference an animation file (gif) outside the website. Upon submitting the post, it worked immediately but upon a subsequent review it failed. I was wondering if the website won't allow reference to an off-website (but on the internet) gif file. The two failed gifs are listed under a post to Caryle on the main message board and under a post to Lolly under the articles of interest board. Thanks.
