Ladies- please send a few thoughts and prayers my way tomorrow May 4th and Wed May 5th- i am having my cyberknife procedures done then and am excited but also very nervous. Hopefully all will go well adn follow up scan wheneve that willbe will show good results. Does anyone know if this is supposed to actually disintegrate the tumors or just shrink them?

They will probably do a follow up MRI in 6 to 12 weeks. This should indicate how the Cyber Knife is working. The length of time depends on the size.
The tumors die and then are absorbed by the body.
Wishing you every success. Please do keep us posted. I am scheduled for stereotactic surgery though not cyberknife next week and I would love to hear how it goes.
