Hi Lolly, I saw my onc today and he agreed my neck is getting bigger, invasive he said, so it looks like the carboplatin isn't working unless some of the inflammation is related to lymphoedema, I know it has been pressing on a nerve so when I turn my neck my ear burns on that side. I also saw the Rads Onc today who is going to compare my files to see if we can squeeze in some more rads, but his staff wouldn't put me in until 17th May at 2.00 so I have e-mailed my onc to see if he can push it forward, he said we didn't have much more left, of course I said yes we do, so he is also trying to get in touch with the drug rep to see if he can get hold of some Gemza, not FDA here yet and he said Iressa is also hard to get but he will try, so hopefully there is also a lot of lymphoedema going on because it is spooking me not knowing what is happening. I was a bit depressed on the way home so I made it worse by going and having a word with my dad at the cemetary, we are a weird family I started with the pennies from heaven being the angles dropping coins to let us know that they are there, so I changed it to 5cent pieces, no pennies around anymore, so every time one turns up we remember dad, so a few were missing from his head stone so I replaced them, so hopefully it is his angels and not someone desperate for 5cents, but if they are that desperate I don't deprive them.
