My wife has been battling and winning for 5 years. She has lung mets that have not changed in size for 3.5 years and cause her only slight discomfort in heavy exercise situations. On marh 10th 04 we learned that she has brain mets. There are three tumours and she has completed whole brain radiation and we wait for her mri on may 26th.Has anybody else had brain mets and what have you done or tried and what is your status. My wife is only 36 and we have two daughters aged 6&9.I am very scared....any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.Phil

I was dx with brain mets in Aug 2003- 6 tumors treated with wbr- i changed oncs because he would not do follow up scans- my new one did an MRI a month ago and found 3 lesions left over (very small) and I recently had cyberknife on them. Hoping for good results - wont know for awhile but I am optimitic. God Bless.
