I don't know if you found my story on the "stories" section of this site, but I am there - Stephanie.
In less than 2 months I will have been off of chemo for 2 years. This is after having a very "iffy" outlook for my raging liver mets. It was unnerving at first, but I came to believe that I could overcome my cancer. My first scan after 4 weeks showed VERY dramatic improvemnet and this bouyed me along to the next scan. My treatment was harsh and long, but did the job.
Please let your mother know that I would be very happy to be in contact with her during this time.
