I, for one, was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35 last year. I completed all of the active treatment (chemo, radiaiton, surgery). Now, I am on Herceptin, supposedly for a year. The annual mark is coming up in August, so I have an appt with my onc next month, just to discuss whether I should remain on Herceptin for the rest of my life. After being staged at 3b at diagnosis, I am happy to say that I am now in remission.

Anyway, my onc advised me not to get pregnant for the next 5 years, since I am hormone positive. Although, the overpression is not as strongly as my her2 status. I have never had a child before. I am just happy with my 2 little girls, one female senior tabby cat and one female perky little dog. :-)

Hugs to all!
