Thank you for your reply. Good luck with your trial..sounds like Herceptin can be the wonder drug.
Just came from seeing my sister, who quite surprisingly "turned a corner" as of yesterday. Her liver function has improved and her white blood cells have shot up enough that she received Herceptin late this afternoon and will be getting some Taxol first thing in the morning. Much to her delight, she is going home tomrrow afternoon. We are thrilled...it certainly gives up more hope. It's remarkable to me how she, and so many of you in similar situations, put aside the feelngs of despair and demoralization to continue the fight and enjoy each day as it comes.
There is one thing I've learned through my sister's journey and that is that maintaining a positve and hopeful attitude goes a long way.
